Because I barely fit into my new seat as is. Got it installed fairly easily last night with minimal hacking and swearing. The M3 is well on its way to becoming whatever it’s going to be.

Maybe there’s a market for driving corsets?

Don’t think of it as losing weight. Think of it as adding lightness.

You need a dodge 318, roomy, but handling impaired.

Now there's an idea worth exploring!

Haha, only problem is that I’m a pretty slim guy to start off with and don’t exactly have a ton of lightness to add!
Although swapping out the stock seat did save about 50 pounds!

But it's the handling that I like!

but have you considered rattliness, lack of quality, burning smells, and a goat on the front? Also mine adds it’s own lightness (relative term) by having bits fall off at regular intervals. (I want ed the six speed manual, not caring what it was installed in.)

Ive got most of that with the M3! It certainly rattles all the time, the interior falls apart frequently, and the valve seals (and maybe piston rings too) are shot so it smells of burning oil constantly!

I know that feel all too well
